I don't get the flight example? Wednesday 1:20 AM = Thursday 1:20 (24 hr notation)?

Anyway it seems to me this whole problem arises with 12 hour notation.

Wednesday 1:20 AM (12 hr notation) = Wednesday 1:20 (24 hr notation), or is there another convention I’ve never heard of? Either way, this seems to further validate the original confusion.

Apple isn’t following the law right now either. They just brought TikTok back to the App Store based on Trump’s promises. But it is still breaking the law.

Apple never brought it back to the App Store. TikTok has to be sideloaded in the US: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cqldw5y4y0no

I have a sceptre. They're really good for the price and super reliable. I won't buy anything else. In fact I might go get a couple spares so I don't have to worry for a while.

I also bought a 65" Sceptre because it's a reasonably priced dumb TV. No issues after a couple years.

>you can't keep it away from forced updates

I fail to see how that is the case? Apple neither forces OS updates, nor forces app updates. An iPad will perform exactly the same, given the same software, after 5 years or 10 years, and the user is in control of that software.

If you are speaking of services, well, that's not unique to iPads, or Apple, but is a consequence of the Internet.

Apple doesn't force OS updates, but they promote them very aggressively. And if you accidentally update, Apple makes it impossible to downgrade.
