It doesn't work that way. A link is to an ASIN (unique product in Amazon). The same product might have a different ASIN in a different region. The product description, title etc might vary.

https://www.amazon.de/dp/1408855658 And https://www.amazon.com/dp/1408855658 Are both the same item. Same with https://www.amazon.de/dp/B086WQWSNT/ And https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086WQWSNT/

Seems like changes .com to .de works with every item i can find. Some just won’t be deliverable in a different geo.

Today is a no better time to set up a storage machine and loaded with Jellyfin.

You can pirate whatever shows, including ones that can't even be legally sold, and run your own service.

If you add the Arrs suite, then you can also get dynamic additions of shows you watch, and just have them show up.

And well, if Meta and ilk can use pirate libraries in a commercial setting, I see nothing wrong in piracy in a non commercial setting.

I just shut down my NAS and PC that was running Sonarr/Radarr SABnzbd etc. I setup stremio and a debrid service, and it's much easier for me to not deal with all that.

I used this guide - https://guides.viren070.me/stremio

> There are plenty of hotels where you can get multiple rooms and a washing machine

Ok... Can you show me some like that in the EU?

> This is all not to mention being asked to strip beds, take out trash, etc, after you've paid thousands of dollars, including cleaning fees for the place.

Just don't do that.

I staid at a hotel in Lisbon [1]that had a kitchen and washing machine. (And a kids club that would watch the kids)

There ended up being an issue with the dryer not drying. So the hotel staff took a laundry basket of clothes and delivered them washed and folded the next morning. That level of service would not have happened in an Airbnb.

I think it is the distinction between "livestock" and "pets".

I would also be very surprised if any vets ever managed to treat a hen successfully. They tend to hide any illness until very sick.

johnbatch · 7 months ago
My neighbor‘s dog bit one of our chickens. We ended up taking her to the vet and got some antibiotics. she made a full recovery.

And yes, there’s a bit of the mix of pets and livestock. We only have five hens, and they all have names. If you’re naming your animal, is it a pet?

They also left https://www.employer.com/terms showing the license for the template they bought.

I would expect nothing but hallucinations and nonsense coming out of any LLM regarding recently-released movies (aka. the ones you often find on flights).

Looks like this is using GPT-4 and has no knowledge after January 2022.

' As of my knowledge cutoff in January 2022, the last movie I have information on is "Spider-Man: No Way Home", which was released in theaters in December 2021. It was one of the most highly anticipated films of that year, marking a major event in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the Spider-Man franchise. '

the owners of the blade runner ip did prevent google from using Nexus i think
johnbatch · a year ago
Cisco nexus is their brand of datacenter switches.

But also found this https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Nexus

“ Upon the announcement of the first Nexus device, the Nexus One, the estate of science fiction author Philip K. Dick claimed that the Nexus One name capitalized on intellectual property from Dick's 1968 novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? and that the choice of name was a direct reference to the Nexus-6 series of androids in the novel.”

Looks like there was a lawsuit, that was eventually settled out of court and we don’t know what was agreed.

"Unlike the vendor’s non-conformant 4.1 drivers, our open source Linux drivers are conformant to the latest OpenGL versions, finally promising broad compatibility with modern OpenGL workloads, like Blender, Ryujinx, and Citra."

Looks like apple silicon are currently the best hardware for running linux and linux is the best OS for apple silicon machines.

johnbatch · 2 years ago
Strange the article doesn't use the word "Apple" once, and instead awkwardly uses "the vendor" to refer to Apple.
