I don't think childless couples (of any gender) should get any societal advantages yet I have no problem working with people that disagree. Why has everything to be black-or-white, left-or-right, with us or against us? That's not a productive way to think about others.
It's one thing to believe as you do, it's quite another to push for legislation that would (in your example) deny childless couples societal advantages, whatever that actually means.
If you're not in favor of a-or-b arguments the answer is to allow a and b, eh?
Or.. any registrar for that matter (Namecheap, Gandi, Godaddy)?
The answer seems to be: "Bro, you want security so the way you do that is to give every device that needs TLS entire access to modify any DNS record, or put it on the public internet; that's the secure way".
(PS: the way this was answered before was: "Well then don't use LE and just buy a certificate from a major provider", but, well, now that's over).
the number of people commenting like “well I don’t do/use/…” is mind-boggling
Someone who works in finance or conpliances might want a demo, or views those things as signals the product is for serious use cases.
How does Venezuela have so much oil and yet their population suffers tremendously?
Let me guess that is also somehow the fault of USA/capitalism/colonialism?
This is a huge problem with all manner of laws in the US. We are not willing to insist that fees be limited only by their ability to prevent the prohibited behavior. Fines should continually escalate, if necessary until the offender is bankrupted, at which point their assets are taken. If Dollar Tree keeps doing this, the fines should eventually reach into the hundreds of millions of dollars, even the billions. Such penalties should also apply to company executives and board members who are responsible for the company's overall conduct.
