Very nice! Reminds me of something I built on Shadertoy a while back: https://www.shadertoy.com/view/4ttGRf

Nice! Where does one learn how to do this kind of thing (aside from the fractals)?

Every time I have googled for it, the only method of working memory training that comes up is N-Back.

So I'm happy that the article mentions another method. Apart from playing "Simon" (yes that circular game with lights), those are the only two I know.

Anyone know of any other methods?

Great site! The only improvement I would ask for is automatically opening the articles with the Wikipedia app, if installed.

I'm trying to learn category theory. It's not the kind of thing you can learn the way this article suggests. I find learning new abstractions rather difficult especially at the level of category theory. If anyone has any tips I'd love to hear them.

Eugenia Cheng has some interesting and accessible videos, e.g.:

and in a similar vein I am enjoying her book: "How to Bake Pi".

Getting more into the technical side of things, Bartosz Milewski has good lessons in this playlist:

I'm 42. I use mental math to stay sharp. Exercise and diet also make a difference.

Could you elaborate on the mental math part - do you do particular exercises?

I have some interest in the topic (thanks to Arraycast and Conor Hoekstra) and bought to Mock a Mockingbird by Raymond Smullyan, however it is still a bit too involved for my small brain.

On the other hand, I am very much enjoying How to Bake Pi by Eugenia Cheng, which is a few levels down in difficulty.

It just seems to be a similar sort of placeholder word like "thing".

Or "smurf" or "smeg".
