Can you walk me through how to reach this '239%' number? Thank you.
rgun · 3 months ago
1.0275 ^ 45 = 3.389

3.389 - 1 (to account for increase) = 2.38 ~ 239%

What is the difference between "Tutorials" and "How to guides"?

The page says that "some players might be experiencing issues" but apparently nobody is able to access PSN.

Same. I have been using this in Yakuake since 5 years but I never knew it was called a "quake mode"

I also use tmux, but I love the native tabs of Konsole in KDE. I have Shift-Arrow configured to move between them, it is far more comfortable than the dual shortcuts needed by tmux, Ctrl-B to call tmux's attention then l (if I remember correctly) to get to the last tab.

Konsole also has easy resizing of text and supports images in the console, you might like it.

I am a happy konsole user. I have bookmarked all the tabs relevant to my project, in a folder. As soon as I start konsole, I open the folder in tabs.

Then as a ritual (and a bit of OCD), I quickly cycle through all the tabs with Shift-Right Arrow once.

You can see how that's effed up right? Email support to disable a "feature"?
rgun · 10 months ago
No doubt. But I think the grand parent wanted to point out to a possible solution for anyone looking for one.

Jonathan Livingston Seagull.

It saved my life, two times. First time inspiring me, second time literally.

What happened the second time?

I would probably have to say The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. I’m a sucker for fat historical fiction books and this one delivered everything I want from that type of book.

I was blown away by Pillars of the Earth.

I had never read a historical fiction before it. It is so well crafted, showing different characters and their perspectives, all in the backdrop of medieval England.

People are busy. Not everyone is willing to spend their time diving into the latest ad block tricks. Some have decided that it's a better use of time to just avoid sites that use dark patterns and aggressively anti-user-friendly design to get you to click on ads instead of the actual content you came to see. This doesn't mean they lack skill — it's possible they just have different priorities.
