I was homeschooled and it affected me terribly. Please don’t do it.
What works for one might not work for another one.

How are you thinking about the socialization aspects of homeschooling vs not?
I imagine part of the benefit of schooling is to socialize children with their peers so I’m curious how you thought about it.
Homeschooling doesn't mean the kid stays at home all the time. We homeschool and my kid has classes and different activities all week, interacts with friends and teams. It has worked very well for us given our lifestyle. I would understand it's not for everyone.

The agents may not have learned anything from Serafini, but the visit — which took place one day before the No Kings protest — did accomplish one thing: Serafini decided against going to No Kings. He was spooked.
That is exactly the chilling effect on speech that the FBI investigating political matters risks creating.

not caring about politics is a crime these days. This is just one example of completely unacceptable things happening.
A better term would be “Augmented Engineering” (AE).
You want something to inspire engineers to do their best work.
When you can expand your capabilities using the power of AI, then yeah, you can do your best work; hence augmented engineering.
But vibing? Not so much.
I guess AE could also stand for Advanced Engineering, after all the AI gives you the power to access and understand the latest in engineering knowledge, on demand, which you can then apply to your work.
I wouldn't worry too much about what to call it. Assigning a distinct label separates it from traditional engineering in a way that it assumes AI-assisted coding is only for a subset of developers. At some point the unusual approach will be writing code without any AI assistance. So the transition will leave the "vibe" behind.

Why are people so obsessed about apps. could be a website that couldn’t easily be taken down.
Well, native apps are more popular among non tech savvy people because they’re easier to find and install. I was talking to the guy who works on our backyard and they don't even know what a browser is on their phone.

Pretty sad to see this. Everyone in the US should be against fascism if they wanted a prosperous life. They're weaponizing the word to get what they want. Its absolute madness. Pretty sad to see this country fall into this state.
