Also makes it very much not "vibe" coding. The term keeps expanding into "any coding activity with AI assistance" but the whole idea of "vibe" coding is that you don't actually understand the generated code, and likely don't know how to program at all, you're just prompting AI to do everything.
Once you step into reviewing & understanding, you're no longer vibe coding you're just...coding.
I would hazard a guess and say: at that spec, if you're looking at 1Y TCO, the Apple could easily be cost competitive performance per dollar.
Since they're in spitting distance of each other, just get the one you're most comfortable with. Personally I prefer Linux and I'm really happy that non-Apple machines are starting to get closer to the same efficiency and performance!
Idk, it feels like people push comments into the 1 dimensional US political dimension (like critical of vaccins = pro-life = climate-change-denier or polar-opposite). Whereas one can be anywhere on a spectrum on any of the axes.
Critical of some research branches? You must be pro-doge then, and you are the "don't look up crowd" and vote maga.
