I was thinking it’d be about a musical keyboard.

Thanks for reminding me that I haven't been to the Lost Art Press site in a while. I have a few of their books; they are fantastic. If you are interested in quality woodworking tools and high-quality woodworking books (both in terms of content as well as binding and paper), check them out.
I hadn't seen their "Build a Chair from Bullshit" book before. I've always been a little intimidated at the thought of building a chair, but this one looks like it's easy to build and has nice lines. Definitely more involved than the OP's chair, but it still looks still approachable with basic tools and skills.

Edit: As mentioned in dlbucci's comment below, I forgot to mention that it's available for free as a downloadable PDF book as well as for purchase as high quality bound book on their site. If you have any interest in an easy to build chair with an attractive design, it's worth a look.
It's a new book (and free!). There's also a YouTube series where they build it, so I'm very tempted to make my first chair now.

Cool post! I am also making an 8-bit-like tracker with web audio (and my name is also Dan B. Weird), but I never found this sort of solution to make it work with the native nodes. I just wound up manually creating wav buffers. Gives you the ability to emulate a lower sample rate and lower pitch resolution (8 bits on NES, I believe), plus you can work around the weird scheduling quirks of the WebAudio api that didn’t really jive with my real time game audio use case. Haven’t wired earbuds always sounded better than Bluetooth at the same price point? When I set up my home theater, I first thought to use a Bluetooth transmitter for the audio but it stunk. Quiet sounds constantly dropped out and there was no bass for the subwoofer. Actually using a long aux cable from projector to speaker was night and day.
As for wired earbuds, I can highly recommend JLab as the most durable, and therefore the best for my tastes. Pairs of mine have gone years and through a lot of abuse (dunked in coffee with surprisingly frequency) and still work. I feel like every other brand lasted less than a year for me.

One other thing that has disappeared from common use(although I have seen it done among some "higher" circles still) is using the husband's full name for the wife here in the UK.
So if you have a man called "John Bridgerton", his wife would be referred to in certain circumstances as "Mrs John Bidgerton". Like you'd get an invite to the King's Ball, and it would say:
"Hereby inviting: Mr John Bridgerton and Mrs John Bridgerton"
I learned about this from my mother, who, like my father, is a doctor. Invitations addressed to "Dr. and Mrs. Father Lastnames" were a source of great offense to her!

He's the game dev who made Fez, then famously decided to cancel Fez 2 after having some sort of break down (maybe over online abuse?). Not sure why we're voting for him though...

Now that is a name I haven't heard in a long time. I almost struggle to remember where I heard them from, but I distinctly remember reading this site trying to find the next great game for my first-gen iPod Touch. I can't say I've ever followed it closely, but there's a certain sadness bound to happen when a childhood site goes down.
I'll poor one out for TouchArcade (and Joystiq. and Rooster Teeth. Just checked, and gonintendo is still kicking!)
