Doesn't matter. You pay the artist for their style of rendering things. Consider XKCD, PHD Comics, Userfriendly, etc. At least 50% of the charm is the style, remaining 50% is the characters and the story arc.

You can't copyright style of a Rolex, but people pay a fortune to get the real deal. Same thing.

> My word, the lawsuits that would arise between artists...

Artists imitate/copy artists as a compliment, at least in illustration and comics world. Unless you do it in bad faith, I don't think artists gonna do that. Artists have a sense of humor to begin with, because art is making fun of this world, in a sense.

No, you pay them for the finished product. The STYLE is independent. Lots of artists have similar styles. They don't all pay each other for copying their styles.

A friend of mine noticed that it looks like ALL these recipes are from Debbie. She has been busy! Thank you Debbie.

For chrome and firefox there is an extension I use that helps dramatically. "Scrollbar Anywhere".

The way I have it set up, I can right click and drag anywhere on "whitespace" on the page and scroll in any direction I drag the mouse. You can set it up to go as fast or slow as you like relative to the amount you move your mouse, and you can even have it "glide" when you let up on the mouse if you like.

Do the keyboard controls work for anyone else? At least for me in current Chrome, they do not seem to work as described.

hmmm. maybe?

What specifically is the actual conspiracy around "Hunter Bidens laptop"? I am not trying to be dense. I just don't understand I think where the conspiracy is.

Now I am fairly certain I probably use more than that even, but with the complexity of biological systems it might be as well saying that being shot with 10 bullets is somehow better than with 1000 bullets.

I just point that out, because I am acutely aware how good people are at convincing themselves with statistics of anything, really.

You are actually being hit a lot more by cosmic rays that are not deflected by our atmosphere. We survive this fine. This is probably a more acurate simile than the bullet one, based on the amounts involved.

My most time saving programs didn't change in several years:

Slickrun, floating command line for Windows https://bayden.com/slickrun/

Autohotkey - shortcuts, text expander and scripting for everything https://www.autohotkey.com/

Total Commander, still the best file manager on Windows https://www.ghisler.com/

CyberChef - The "Cyber Swiss Army Knife" - single file web app for all kinds of conversions, encryption, encoding, compression and data analysis https://gchq.github.io/CyberChef/

Adminer - lighweigt database manager https://www.adminer.org/

I use Total Commander and Autohotkey, and CyberChef as well.

I would add ClipMate as the absolute BEST clipboard manager: http://www.thornsoft.com/clipmate7.htm

Display Fusion Pro for managing window layout with multi monitors https://www.displayfusion.com/

Misc programs I use daily that are easily google-able: Evernote Belvedere Bitwarden Snagit

Vimium. Vim-like shortcuts for the browser. I can't name any other tool or extension that gives me anywhere near the productivity boost of Vimium. I spend probably half of my work day plus a few hours a day in my spare time in the browser, and it makes navigating the browser feel like butter. When I'm tired and don't want to be glued to my desk, I can relax and surf with one hand which just feels incredible. I quickly got so used to it that I instinctively try to use Vimium shortcuts when I'm on other computes and feel withdrawal symptoms if I realize that it isn't installed.

If you like Vimium, you should check out SurfingKeys. It is similar but seems to have even more going for it: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/surfingkeys/gfblio...

Do you know of any successful MMO made with Unity? I have a hard time believing that it's responsible for any ease of MMO development, but I haven't played MMOs much since WoW/FFXIV so maybe I'm behind.
beernutz · 3 years ago
I think maybe Genshin Impact is made with Unity.

I don't think you are either, but like the rest of that group , I expect that you'll keep using Chrome anyway. Because it's not like uBO will stop working, it'll just be a bit worse.

If it stops allowing cosmetic filtering, I will be looking for a different solution.
