Why does a rapper who's been dead for years occupy the eighth position?

He has a large and fanatical fanbase despite having trapped his pregnant girlfriend in a room and beating her so severely her eyes swelled shut (which he would later brag about)... while out on bail for breaking into someone's house, pistol whipping them, and robbing them.

So it's not free to camp, we'll end up with centralised mega hosters (seedboxes in the tracker analogy) and in practice travelers will be too small time to actually be able earn any credits
312c · 2 years ago
Its also ripe for abuse; create dummy accounts that use their free stays to give a host credit, then the host sells those credits for real money.

On a certain movie tracker some invite selling scum would join via the signup process that used to exist on reddit, cheat a bunch of upload on popular torrents, convert that upload into bonus points, launder the points to their main account through a forum contest where they also gave away BP to innocent users, and buy invites to sell for real $ with the laundered BP. Similarly the dummy camping accounts could make sure to mix in some legit hosts as their free stays by picking hosts that may not be around/able to verify the dummy account stayed at their location (because it didn't).

I don't know if it's supported anymore but some Wyze cameras have an official but unsupported alternative firmware you can flash that exposes them as a local network video stream. They work great and anything on your network can ingest the video. I don't think they made this firmware for their fancier cameras that have motorized pan/tilt etc though.

This is what will force Reddits hand to either backtrack or remove those mods and place their own. Which the ladder would no doubt be worse.

How is a company that is not profitable according to the CEO going to hire 20,000 people to replace the volunteer moderators?

It’s pretty late, so I might be missing something. However, neither of those groups seems to be releasing netflix content?

The first does bluray remuxes on HDB (a private tracker). I don’t think they directly release anything on public trackers.

The other did a bunch of 360p porn uploads in 2019.

They might mean SiGMA not SiG, SiGMA releases on PrivateHD. EPSiLON used to also, but there was some issues between them and PHD and they are currently releasing on TorrentLeech I believe. SiGMA does Amazon/Netflix WebDLs, but EPSiLON only does BD remuxes.

What about the filenames tells you that?

The fact they're XviD, no respectable torrent sites have allowed those encodes in well over half a decade.

False. We didn’t have a vaccine available until early 2021. People were scrambling to find a therapeutic way to treat Covid and there was anecdotal evidence that hcq and ivermectin might work. They wanted large scale trials but they were unscientifically denied which made people very suspicious about the reasons why.

Yes, they turned out to be ineffective but the reaction against them was mindblowingly biased and filled with propaganda.

False. There was an large scale international trial and it showed that HCQ did little to nothing to treat covid.

My point is that we should respect the people of italy and their choice. We should do the same for hungary and poland. Sanctions and threats polarise voters or may even help their cause.

Maybe there is a third option, other than appeasement or threats. Maybe we can try and understand why people of now a third eu member state chose such a political leader.

74% of voters in Italy did not want Meloni.

That could be nice for audio. I have lots of album rips as single mp3's. It would be nice to have metadata for the tracks inside the mp3 without having to split the mp3 out into separate files.

Seems fine for ordinary video too. Like, tag all the scenes in a Star Trek episode where Mr. Spock appears.

312c · 3 years ago
.cue files already handle that for music and every significant media player has supported them for decades
