Of course something like that would really take control out of hands of ones on top at the budget committees in DC and fees for their friends.
Decentralization will generate much much more wealth for most people, but it will take control away from a few that are in control.
One question though - why tableau? It's legacy now
We're Stored – a digital payments startup redefining how merchants sell and get paid. We recently closed an oversubscribed funding round, driven by several new partnership agreements with some of the world's largest payments businesses.
You’ll be joining a small team where your work will have immediate and visible impact. The majority of the backend has been built by one of our founders, and you'll work closely with them to help take it to the next level.
What we’re looking for:
-Strong experience with C# and back end systems.
-Deep understanding of Postgres, performance tuning, batching, and scaling.
-Proficiency in TypeScript, and capable of owning full features end-to-end.
-Comfortable handling front end logic (we use Svelte, but experience with any modern framework like React or Vue is fine). To be clear, you won't need to design/build UIs, but you should be able to work across the stack.
-Experience with Linux and networking, especially profiling/debugging in high-traffic production environments is desirable but not essential
-Fluent in written and verbal English
-Self-disciplined, motivated, and able to manage concurrent tasks
This is a fully remote role, but we’re based out of London, UK and so only considering candidates in GMT/BST ±3 time zones who are willing to work between the hours of 8am - 6pm GMT/BST.
Please email CVs to tech-hiring[at]joinstored.com

We’re building an AI system for analysts and scientists, based on a fundamentally new approach to reasoning and knowledge representation. Our approach differs from LLMs in that we compose algorithms symbolically to represent complex knowledge, and perform probabilistic computations. This enables the AI-driven application of statistical models to different problems, while providing the user with a verifiable reasoning path, and an assessment of the uncertainty in each answer. We are developing applications for analysis and research in domains such as Finance, Strategy Consulting, Engineering, Material Sciences, and more.
We’re currently hiring for:
* Program Synthesis Engineers
* Senior DevOps Engineers
* Senior Product Manager
* Senior UX Designer

Count is like Jupyter, Tableau and Miro combined in one tool. Some of the world's leading data teams use it for everything from iterating data models and performing in-depth analyses to creating process flow maps of their entire business.
We're a small team looking for experienced software engineers who are interested in tackling deep technical challenges in the data analytics space.
For the best possible user experience, we have developed various technologies in-house, including a custom WebGL rendering engine, our own data visualization library, and a reactive SQL/Python notebook and database query framework.
Example projects: accelerating rendering using quadtree tiling, extending interactivity and customizability of visualizations, leveraging LLMs in data exploration, developing serverless frameworks for executing database queries at high concurrency.
Our tech stack: TypeScript, Python, Node, WebAssembly, WebGL, Apache Arrow/Parquet, DuckDB, Kubernetes, React.

You'd be working with engineers who previously worked at Google, Amazon, Helsing, Darktrace and an F1 team. We build drones (software and hardware)
We're looking for engineers that straddle real world problems, and use technology as a solution. We prefer personal projects or relevant hobbies, not hard leetcode questions. We value collaboration: pair programming, discussing, teaching and learning from others. We're looking for mission-driven engineers. People who see problems in the world and want to help solve them.
You'd be working with me to build the most intuitive, performant, and modern mission planning and flight monitoring software for drones, and related applications (tools for drone design and manufacturing). For my project, we use React, Tailwind, Node, drizzle-orm, Postgres, SQLite, deck.gl, Python, FastAPI, asyncio, and more. You're allowed (and compensated) to use AI services.
Because we are a small team, you will be noticed and rewarded for performance.
*Please don’t apply if any of these resonate:*
• You prefer narrow ownership—“I only touch the backend or the code I've written”.
• You think it's more about "who you know, not what you know".
• You haven’t actively learned a new tool or hobby in the last year.
If interested, email my temporary email: hn-june25@mail.orth.uk with your CV and some personalised information about why you'd be the right fit.
