The notion that China is somewhat entitled to dominate its neighbors because it had a bad run 1-2 centuries ago is a bit silly.
and who exactly are we to dictate what a 5000 years old country and civilisation gets to do when we literally fund the mass murder of an entire group of people because it's "God's Promise" ?

I wanted to ask how you handle language autodetection for snippets.
Fun fact: I got my current job in part thanks to overleaf. I used it to write down my CV. It's so much more useful than Ms Word or Google Docs.
Case in point, this thread.
I wonder what it is about people in the West over the last generation that eliminates their ability to distinguish between “not ideal” and “terrible”, if the “not ideal” is their home base.
Ironically, the internet and the free access to information that comes with it have essentially removed the veil.
