I've been programming for 60 years. I started working with LLM in mid-2025 and have created a number of useful tools in my consulting business. For the programming part, and actually the planning part, I estimate that it increases my productivity by a factor of 5.

Additionally, I always am looking closely at the code and I think I am an incrementally better programmer.

“Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs.

I am haunted by waters.”

Beware the anxiety industrial complex.
