Yeah, I don't get it either. Deploy a VM that runs an LLM so that I can talk to it via Telegram... I could just talk to it through an app or a web interface. I'm not even trying to be snarky, like what the hell even is the use case?

Difference is that openclaw is not LLM but engine that spawns up agent that interact with LLM and the system its installed on.

It can have full access to the system it’s running on. So it can browse internet via browser, run cli commands, api’s via skills etc.

Idea is to act like a Jarvis personal assistant. You tell what to do via chat e.g telegram, then it does it for you.

My elderly mother-in-law is slowly going blind. She relies on Meta glasses to read print on everything — from the back of a can to the mail. She also uses them to help locate items around the house, whether it’s something on the counter or in the living room.

I’ve tried the glasses myself, and I’m convinced that wearable eyewear like this will eventually replace the mobile phone. With ongoing advances in miniaturization, it’s only a matter of time before AR and AV are fully integrated into everyday wearables.

I'm currently on H1B. I'm getting married soon to the US citizen so I'm planning to apply for marriage based green card. Are there any downsides to apply for EAD(I-765) and Advance parole(I-131) along with I485?

I've been a Mint customer for about 4 years, paying the annual upfront payment, which works out to $15/mo. And shaking my head at those who are paying double or triple that rate on T-Mobile, even though Mint uses the same exact network.

In terms of why T-Mobile is making this purchase, I'm pretty sure it's to take out someone who was eating their lunch.

I've always found it strange that an MVNO is able to operate on the T-Mobile network the entire time and undercut their rates so much that they become a threat.

I guess T-Mobile thinks there are two ways to resolve this: lower their rates to compete with the MVNO, or buy the MVNO ... which I'm sure will result in rate increases, even though they say they have no immediate plans to do that.

I was a Mint customer before I moved to T-Mobile. I had to move because Mint network got severely deprioritized and was unusable in public/crowded places. I still pay $15 to Tmobile but I don’t get deprioritized anymore.

I'm in my 20s. I live alone in a city where I don't know anyone. Remote work destroyed my mental health.

All I wanted was to be able to go into an office and talk to a real life person. I would go weeks at a time not talking to a single person in real life.

I don't think people understand the plight of the young office worker until they've experienced the torture of solitary confinement. Day in, day out. All alone. I don't have a girlfriend, friends, or a life in this city.

I tried to join clubs and a maker space, but no time - I was working all day. The maker space closed early. I'm creative, I like working. I just wanted to go to an office. That's all I wanted. I wanted a routine. I wanted to commute and people watch. I wanted to feel like I was living life. But no, I had a remote job.

I got a new job that's supposed to be 3 days a week in office. Guess what? My team can't get enough remote work - they're not going to go into the office. And here I am, again, in the torture of solitary confinement.

I've been thinking about getting a new career, going into the trades. Anything that would allow me to have consistent interaction with other people.

I've become anti-technology, anti-society. I'm an optimistic person, yet I slip into depression because the only thing I want - to be able to go into an office - will not happen for me.

I have the same feeling of solitary confinement. I now dream of working at Costco or Whole Foods to have some social interaction.
