agree but at the same time there's not too much lock in with these IDEs these days and switching is very easy. Especially since they're all VSCode forks

It’s very normal here in Portugal. If you looked carefully and weren’t picky about the brands, you could have 6 mini-splits installed for $3000 all-in.
Parent mentioned $600 for the install. I live in Portugal as well, paid around $500 for ~one~ mini split A/C install

For comparison, I just bought a house here in Japan. Installed 6 minisplit heat pumps across various rooms in the house. All together it cost me 750,000 yen ($5,000) for the hardware and 90,000 yen ($600) for the install.
Do you mean 6 A/C units ? I. e. 6 outdoor and indoor units

While on the topic, I'm looking for some AR / VR platform to help with my child (11 yo) severe flight anxiety.
Does anyone have any recommendations on the matter ? would be super helpful as we have a flight coming soon (2 months) and I can already see her anxiety levels rising.

I started having tinnitus right after a COVID infection.
it's not too bad, only one ear and it comes and goes pretty quickly.
For me the COVID correlation is 100%, but I haven't found too much literature about it and wonder if anyone experienced it as well

Somewhat tangential (sorry), but in my part of southern Europe, cash change machines seem to be getting close to ubiquitous.
I wonder if that hinders tax evasion at all since there's presumably a pretty reliable paper trail of cash transactions.

It is still harder to prove where the cash you took out of the ATM went to in comparison to card payments, but yeah, if you take a big amount of cash out of the ATM then it would be easy to flag you
