These jars are clearly labeled “Momofuku”. I’m not even aware they’re called chili crunch. Momofuku clearly seems to be the actual trademark.

And it’s not even original, they wanted customers to draw assocations between them and the famed Momofuku Ando.

There is some great cosmic irony here. A section about never needing to build, install, etc… just give me an executable. Followed immediately with an incantation for zig to build this project
ukz · 2 years ago
That's for the developers to build the binary, not the end users. But yeah.

Interesting. What I was most curious about are the backups of the database. Couldn't find any mention of it.

It’s SQLite. Maybe do a periodic rsync or S3.

"Istanbul not Constantinople" pawpaw/papaya. Alas.. as the article says not entirely: not all pawpaw are papaya.

Ripe Papaya improve with a squeeze of lime. Green papaya are fantastic grated in south-east Asian salads.

Istanbul not Baghdad.

In Argentina we use "cri cri" (that sounds like "kree kree"). It's suppose to be sound of crickets.
ukz · 4 years ago
Same here in Indonesia, we use “krik krik”.

Nyepi (Day of Silence) is tomorrow here in Bali. There will be no radio, tv, cellular data, and the airport will be closed for the day. I kinda like the idea of one Silent Day a year. So if you reply to this comment I won't reply :-)
ukz · 5 years ago
Will reply to this anyway. Rahajeng rahina Nyepi!

I am surprised GitHub project kanbans don’t get more attention. They are easy to setup, great for tracking activities and allow “threaded” discussions inside each issue. Why would you use Slack for your team if you have GitHub with this free option?
ukz · 5 years ago
Good luck convincing non-engineering folks in your org to sign up to GitHub.
