I do this when my sciatica pain is preventing me from sitting and I'm tired of standing at my desk. I can work lying down for up to a couple of hours and find the position to be highly comfortable and productive.
Contrast this with a woman, whom is born with all the eggs she will ever have. She doesn't produce any new ones and thus her "job" is to maintain the freshness of her eggs for as long as possible. It also makes sense that youth is the best time for her to conceive a child as her eggs will not have accumulated as much damage as an older woman.
This kind of paints the picture that a man who is taking care of himself should aim for a young woman so as to give their children the best genetic roll of the dice.
In practice, cops could just arrest for the sort of public drug use that causes problems
The idea stills holds merit in my mind. Yes, it condones drug use and illegal activities, but it also cleans up the surrounding areas. I think it would also serve as a deterrent for the casual trying of a substance that could result in lifelong addiction. Who in their right mind would want to go to such a disgusting place to try something new?
It turns a problem that is currently diffuse to a problem that is concentrated. Like the difference between coal power plants spewing CO2 into the air versus nuclear power plants that leave radioactive waste that can be contained in barrels. Not the greatest analogy, but the point stands.
1. Get your glasses wet with warm water.
2. Apply dish soap to both lenses.
3. Gently rub the soapy water over the lenses. For some stubborn things (like sunscreen) in the edges I sometimes gently use a Q-tip.
4. Rinse under warm water. Gently rub with your fingers to agitate the soapy water and help rinse it off.
5. (This is the important step) Adjust the faucet’s flow to a low laminar flow and run the glasses through water, hitting the top of the glasses first and letting the water flow down and off the bottom of the lenses. It might take a couple passes but doing this will eliminate any water droplets on the lenses.
6. Use a clean towel to gently dry the frames. The lenses don’t need drying since the laminar flow eliminated all the water droplets on them.
Here's what I did: 1. First pass of laminar flow water from the faucet to remove any large debris. 2. Two sprays of lens cleaner on each side of each lens. 3. Rinse lenses with laminar flow water making sure to leave no droplets behind.
Thank you for changing my algorithm forever.
Love ”passive” features where it just works in the background with zero input and collects statistics, such as step tracking.
Much, much better than the alternative.
H1N1 was serious and compared to this, well handled.
I for one lean towards nipping things in the bud and have been experiencing ever-increasing anxiety since I started watching Covid-19 in late January.
Fortunately, since most of us already work remotely for at least some of the time we didn't have any significant issues.
Beyond that, nothing really.
