My grandmother said you’d offer food to guests because you knew they were hungry and they’d refuse because they knew you didn’t have enough for yourself. If you actually had enough food for a meal you needed to convince your houseguest.

That's the reason, I avoid going to relatives home as guests. They would compel and force me to eat something that I don't prefer. I won't be able to politely decline them as I'm from guess culture.

1) Talk to a lawyer, many will do an initial consultation for free. Expect to pay money to have them help you with response letters. I would not recommend doing this alone

2) It does sound like your app is more general, like you say, similar to browser automation tools or AutoHotKey. The user requests are not coming from an IP you control. Remove references / examples to LinkedIn for sure. This is basically what they are asking you to do. Talk to a lawyer

Side note, I thought LinkedIn lost that case on appeal, and after being sent back down from the Supreme Court for re-evaluation.

There's both local and cloud version of the app. The cloud version of the app runs from the infra that he manages. Hence, he would liable for the violations that happen using the cloud platform that he manages.

Absolutely, and e-mail or Paypal account name too. Neither of them are trivial to change. If you try to create a new account for each thing at a generic mail provider such as Gmail, your accounts will be shut down by automatic abuse filters. If you roll your own domain, then, well... the domain becomes the foreign key.

Would using a separate service email accounts help mitigate issues? seng-baking@gmail.com, then seng-banking+icici@gmail.com, seng-banking+axis@gmail.com, etc? That way my primary email would stay private and will used only for email, not for identity.
