I don't really agree with this... there is a parallel issue.

If AIs are doing most of the work in megacorps (especially if robotics take off), then basically all profit is going to the owners and tiny groups of executive AI "managers."

Even the most staunch (but sane) capitalist libertarian will admit mega income inequality is baaad juju.

And who will consume the output of these robots? Surely not the unemployed workers they replaced.

And? So what if it is? That makes it not real in some way, or not worth consideration or study? It's affecting a lot of people, their suffering is real. The cause is significant to understanding and relieving the effects. If we determine 100% that it's mental we still don't get to shrug and say alright then that's that good luck everybody.

Obviously, this "disease" joins all the other psychosomatic ones. So nothing new.

Long Covid is mostly a mental disorder. Just like ME/CFS.

We are not at the university and writing a thesis here. It is freedom of speech and opinions are formed freely.

Who cares? People will quickly setup their own default search engine. And I guess it will be Google. Google is a household name. Nobody in the "real" world cares about this AI crap.

That's a feast! Laguardia happily shuts down at like 6 or so, after that if you have a connection you can look for food scraps on the floor or, you know, dive right into that intermittent fasting you always wanted to try.

Or be an adult and bring your sandwich from home.
