The Sumida Hokusai Museum is almost entirely a display of replicas. They are very upfront about being a “learning” museum - they do hold the original prints but display them in rotation. We were there last year and there was exactly one original print on display (in a back corner of the special exhibit room); it was one of the “36 views” but not one of the uber-famous ones.

While most the time they display replica, sometimes they do show the original, like for example right now. Sadly no live sumo in Ryogoku, the next tournament starts this Sunday in Nagoya.

In Ostravian dialect of Czech it survives as well.

"Kaj ideš?" - "Do roboty." (standard Czech would be "Kam jdeš?" - "Do práce.")

"Ostravian dialect" is that what you call Silesian language in Czechia?

In Japan (and, for some reason, Australia and Mexico) you can buy a drink called "Pocari Sweat".

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pocari_Sweat

It's a soft drink specifically designed to avoid you getting hyponatremia, and was apparently inspired by doctors who would drink the contents of saline IV pouches.

Like many asian soft drinks it's not very sweet but it's not unpleasant. If you live on the US west coast you can find it in most Japanese supermarkets.

Pocari is well known and available everywhere in Japan (that makes it pretty good choice when dealing with hangover) but OS-1 is better https://www.os-1.jp/en/
resheku commented on 1password is considering a self-hosted option to store vaults   1password.community/discu... · Posted by u/bluish29

They made the standalone license almost impossible to find and get, forced a subscription on users, and made the password vault storage online for the subscriptions. Now this self-hosting survey comes as a surprise, and it would be of some relief if/when it’s implemented.

I do wonder how the licensing and pricing will be handled though.

Bitwarden officially allows self-hosting for the personal use tiers, but it seems to have some license purchase requirements even for the self-hosted options (other than the free tier).

Is there any password management application out there that makes sharing passwords or password vaults easy but is also free? I’ve looked at KeePassXC and Bitwarden. The former isn’t easy to use for sharing and sharing permissions. The latter doesn’t offer sharing among more than two people in the free tier.

https://github.com/nextcloud/passman is the closest one to my needs

- self-hosted on docker

- mobile app and browser extension

- sharing secrets and storing files

- api

To complement this, I recommend installing `pgcli`[https://www.pgcli.com/]. It's a near-drop-in-replacement for psql, and gives autocompletion, syntax highlighting, and semicolon forgiveness.

Even as someone already comfortable with psql, pgcli is extremely handy.

pgcli is nice

and it works great with pspg pager [https://github.com/okbob/pspg]

''\pager /usr/local/bin/pspg''
