This is a legit question, but Occam's razor suggests this is more Trump retribution against someone he's taken a dislike to. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy, Bolton refused to testify during Trump's first impeachment when he could have moved the needle on Trump running US foreign policy for his own benefit.

Likely Bolton has own copy of epstein files, unredacted.

Variable/exempt VAT on certain goods often leads to funny exploitation. In Poland we got a ton of media (games, movies, pr0n) sold as magazines/books to get 8% instead of 22% VAT.

Here an example from CD Project (Witcher and Cyberpunk guys) https://gamerweb.pl/gry-z-serii-gamebook-w-sieci-sklepow-bie... Gamebook, a book bundled with "free" game :)

funnily enough iPhones had tiny NVMe storage since 6s 10 years ago, but Apple wont ever sell expandable storage option when it can gouge on upsells.

It does seem to run things. video with no sound from 2023 of pico-xt (pico-286 was based on it) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9F0lXviwLE8 and one review from 2024 https://habr-com.translate.goog/ru/articles/842292/?_x_tr_sl... with actual useful info:

-performance ~8MHz 286 on rp2040

-“VGA and EGA modes on pico-xt are supported to a very limited extent (there is little memory in the microcontroller) and 90% of games will not work in them” but that was 2 years ago

-Prince of Persia and Monkey Island run

-“King’s Bounty just doesn’t start”

Anyone else instantly turned away by the LLM emoji bullet points?

This project could be the work of an enthusiastic developer with a deep understanding/love of the 80286 or LLM slop based on regurgitated code stolen from years of hard work by dedicated retro emulator developers. Unfair or not, emoji bullet points do not give confidence it's the first.

Code is also LLMed + no screenshots, no videos, no software compatibility listed, no github issues/error reports and nobody on the googlable internet ever ran this. No idea whats going on.

Man that's some environmentalist centralist government planner thinking: mess up your energy policy so badly that prices rise like crazy and it starts making sense for people to switch to way more expensive ways to convert energy.

Is this supposed to be positive?

rasz · 6 days ago
Its only more expensive in US, because of the government.

Man selling shovels reports that every job requires a new shovel.

Or in other words, of course he says that; it's not really a useful analysis is it?
