It’s surprising anyone would publish or conduct this research, as it presents a problem for “blank slate theory”. If human mating is assortive, then corellations between parent and child socioeconomic status are likely to be substantively due to genetic factors rather than solely oppression. The alternative would be a theory of “genetic oppression” requiring some sort of genetic equity, but that route is a trap for progressive thought due to that movement’s historical love of eugenics.

Stores in our area have stopped stocking plastic bags. Lately I have been just loading armfuls of groceries into my car directly.
"Yes I am an idiot. I thought I could swing by the store on the way home from work. No I will not by a reusable bag - I already have 900 at home stuffed into a closet."
I don't know why we waste so much effort on environmental initiatives that help the least but make people annoyed the most.
Use them as trash liners or you can cut them to make doggy doodoo bags.

I loved the new plastic bags in California ever since they came out. Those old weak bags always ripped and tore. Had no idea the new ones were reusable! They make much better trash liners than the old ones.

Which group of "drug users" must stay away from your neighborhood: recreational pot smokers, or those taking doctor prescribed opiods and adderall?
I mean the drug users that punched my car, break windows, yell at all hours, stole my best friends bike tire, and shit around every corner even though there are plenty of public toilets. Don’t care whether it’s “legal”.

This assumes ending the war on drugs is a good idea. In fact, it is a bad idea on an individual level as well as a society level.
On an individual level, it is likely that all of these drugs are harmful. We know all pharmaceutical drugs have negative side effects, and they are only meant to be prescribed by a doctor who weighs the costs and benefits. Why would recreational drugs be any different? Alcohol, the most common recreational drug, has terrible health effects on individuals. Are we supposed to believe marijuana or LSD or DMT will be somehow harmless?
On a society level, legalizing recreational drug use will contribute to the social decay. Recreational drugs are a way to withdraw from society. Even if most people do not become addicted, many will, and the addicts will wreak havoc on society.
Look at alcohol: alcoholism is a bad thing. Anyone who has seen it in their family or friends knows this. Alcohol is associated with drunk driving and violence. And alcohol is a substance with a long, long history of regulation and social conventions. It is the "best case" out come for a recreational drug, with a huge amount of mitigating forces.
Are we really to think that throwing in 10 new drugs in the span of a few decades is going to end well for society?
