I asked Gemini to help me write Certificate Authority code, and it simply kept refusing because it was a security risk. Quite frustrating. Haven't tried on ChatGPT though.

It flat out refused to give me openssl commands to generate self signed certificates which I found very surprising.

"The music and tech industries are at a juncture, and it’s time that we as workers have a seat at the table to weigh in on the challenges and opportunities of this moment."

Can someone explain this in plain english?

I was going to do a post rebuking the points made, but rather unsurprisingly it seems plenty of others already have done so, in a manner much less arrogant than OP's.

http://www.javaspecialists.eu/archive/Issue187.html and http://onjava.com/pub/a/onjava/2003/11/19/exceptions.html?pa... are two well written sources of many that Google turned up on the subject.

>Could Flickr create a beautiful magazinelike iPad application that allows people to skim through high-resolution images on the service?

How does this Flickr app not already exist? I'm pretty sure a couple of 20yr old coders could make an app like this in a day or two if they had access to Flickr's data. The hard part isn't displaying images on a tablet, its having the high quality images in the first place.
