I've been playing/building Maggielab.com an online, non-destructive, simple image editor. Made it for my wife because she really doesn't play well with image editors :D

IMHO it's not lifeless. It's just not overly emotional. I definitely prefer it that way. I do not want the AI to be excited. It feels so contrived.

On the video itself: Interesting, but "ideal" was pronounced wrong in German. For a promotional video, they should have checked that with native speakers. On the other hand its at least honest.

I hate with a passion the over-americanized "accent" of chatgpt voices. Give me a bland one any day of the week

AI professor here. I know this page is a joke, but in the interest of accuracy, a terminological comment: we don't call it a "hallucination" if a model complies exactly with what a prompt asked for and produces a prediction, exactly as requested.

Rater, "hallucinations" are spurious replacements of factual knowledge with fictional material caused by the use of statistical process (the pseudo random number generator used with the "temperature" parameter of neural transformers): token prediction without meaning representation.

wouldn't the right term be 'confabulation'?

PHP becomes a complex language with each update. For what reason? Its application is still limited to the web, mostly.
nunodonato · a month ago
Obviously you haven't heard of NativePhp :)

Still, even if it was "just" the web, why wouldn't it evolve? It's a great language, with a big user base, and there's always room for improvements and to increase the developer experience

Hi folks, I built this - mainly for my wife :') - because she really can't seem to get the hang of image editors and usually does the same basic stuff. So I ended up adding some basic transforms and image manipulation, plus a few things that I know she will find useful.

Runs in your browser, and nothing gets saved in the cloud.

the Xiao Xiao Flash series were amazing. I always wondered when someone would come up with a beat'em-up game with that style. Simple, fast-paced, lots of free movement and use of tools/weapons.
