Apple makes home computers, mobile devices, AV equipment and productivity/multimedia software.
Meta makes social media platforms, and vr headsets. What exactly makes them "rivals"? WhatsApp vs iMessage? They're two big companies in the same sector, sure, but do they really compete against each other in a major way?

This might be a bit of an oversimplification, but, if a bank robbery was committed and it came to light that an individual or party was the financier, they too would be investigated and likely charged.
In this case, Black Rock funds war crimes in China and Israel. Shouldn't they too be held accountable, as the financier??

Fun fact: since an SVG is technically code and not a binary image file, LLMs are capable of writing them! I tested this with Claude Sonnet 4 and within 7 minutes I was able to describe what I wanted the animated logo to do, and it delivered the SVG faithfully. Even embedded it into the README.md
I put them behind meta on the evilness meter but i think google is less evil which speaks volumes.
The only side of ms that i have any love for is xbox but that is also waning with all the studio acquisitions.
