for e.g. the form of communication used by bees is very well known now, it involves not just spatial movements but also "buzzing" which is totally similar tot he sounds we make, they just lack vocal cords.

This article seems to kind of dance around yet agree with the discovery thing, but in an indirect way.
Math is just math. Music is just music. Even seemingly-random musical notes played in a “song” has a rational explanation relative to the instrument. It isn’t the fault of music that a song might sound chaotic, it’s just music. Bad music maybe. This analogy can break down quickly, but in my head it makes sense.
Disclaimer - the most advanced math classes I’ve taken: calc3/linear/diffeq.
I am more on the side of seeing maths as a precision language we utilize and extend as needed, especially because it can describe physically non-existent things e.g. perfect circles.

We just launched the V1 homepage for Actory AI, where we’re building autonomous software quality assurance agents for startups and scaleups that need to ship fast without sacrificing stability.
Our platform automatically analyzes builds, flags bugs, and provides intelligent test coverage recommendations—no need to write endless test cases or rely on fragile scripts. We’re focused on making QA invisible, intelligent, and integrated into your dev flow.
Check out our new site: https://actory.ai LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/actory-ai
We’re in the early stages and would love your feedback: • What matters most to you when it comes to automated QA? • How do you currently handle QA in fast-release cycles? • What would make this valuable enough for you to adopt?
Thanks in advance for taking a look. Excited to share this journey with you.

Is it the fear of fines? That never deters them from collecting more data though.
The specific question I am interested in is: Did Rovio knowingly and willingly accept $$$ from NSA (directly or indirectly) to weaken their security? I.e. were they acting as a willing accomplice.
Because that part would be unusual for Finland (well, at least as far as I know). For US companies I wouldn't bat an eye at news like this.
