Can anyone explain to me the mindset that allows you to go so far as to burn through a ton of investors money and actually ship a "Free" energy device to the public? It is baffling to me that someone could continue to bluff all the way until the inevitable public humiliation. Still I'm going to enjoy watching it play out, provided they actually do ship these boxes and dont magically have a last minute hitch (even that would be interesting to hear what excuse could be made up).
I think the theory is that he no longer has access to the keys... the implication being that the authorities are in control and he has to obey a gagging order.
The top comment is always quite interesting. There seems to be a few people saying that Mark possibly lost the private keys. Is there any source to that? Or pure speculation?

It shouldn't really matter to Amazon. Their fulfillment service is just an API for saying "take this item from your warehouse and ship it to this address". Amazon doesn't know that you're shipping things in response to a BitCoin payment, versus goodies for KickStarter backers, versus holiday gifts for customers. All BitPay is doing is integrating their API with Amazon's API for you so that receiving a payment can kick off a shipment. It doesn't create any new potential liability for Amazon; they're not touching bitcoins and their payment for the fulfillment service is separate from what they're fulfilling.
