I struggle with getting exertion headaches whenever my heart rate goes over 170 bpm for more than a minute or two. It's incredibly frustrating to have to hold back and moderate my physical activity, knowing that if I don't I'll have a rather debilitating headache for the rest of the day and potentially into the next day.
I do get a lot of exercise, but I keep it in the lower zones to avoid this complication and I still feel like I get such a great mood boost and improvements to my cognitive abilities wrt to work.
> One interesting thing is that properly run crypto custodians don't make the news, are 100% collateralized and can withstand 100% withdrawals in an orderly fashion.
Ah, the mythical "properly run crypto custodian". Does such a fantastic beast actually exist?
Kraken operates in over 60 countries (according to their website). They pay the same amount across all those territories, including benefits etc.? I find that hard to believe.
For engineering/product etc. that's the case. Doesn't matter if you move from San Francisco to Thailand or some other low cost of living area, your pay remains the same.
Who would you consider to be operationally and culturally superior in regards to remote work than Gitlab? Asking sincerely, because Gitlab is one of the first brands I think of when people mention "remote first culture".
The only thing that comes to mind here is that there was a fee spike [1] and they've got too many unspents stuck in the mempool and can't initiate further withdrawals because their wallet is effectively "spent" until those pending transactions complete and they receive their change. I find this a bit hard to believe though...wallet management isn't simple when it comes to the scale that Binance handles, however I'd be shocked if they didn't have code written to trigger CPFP (Child Pays For Parent) [2].
