For anyone else not from the UK, ONS seems to be some official body doing some sort of, well, sampling.

Do you have a link to their current stats? I found this page[1] but it's not very accessible, not sure this is what you mean.

This is a more friendly presentation of the same data, though note there’s a lag in the ONS data as it’s from ongoing sampling rather than self reported tests. At time of writing this is up to 30 July (next update 6 August):

iSDA | Head of Business Development | REMOTE / Africa | https://isda-africa.com

iSDA is a mission-driven company bringing advanced technologies to the small farm sector in Africa. We harness the market in order to reach millions of farmers, and use the best science to maximize profitability for our clients and their farmers. We are looking for someone with diverse experience and a track record in the African private sector, a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and a history of building new business opportunities to deliver on our mission to improve the profitability of small-scale farmers.

We're a remote-first team, the position is Africa-based and will involve extensive travel.

If you're interested please take a look at a more detailed job description at https://www.isda-africa.com/head-of-business-development/ or reach out with any questions.

Who's James Mason?

I can only assume this is a #MeToo reference as he was the male lead in Lolita - c.f. https://www.theguardian.com/film/2018/feb/16/times-finally-u...

I would change it to: some were meant to c
jamiecollinson · 6 years ago
From the intro it's a reference to a song lyric (which I wasn't familiar with):

While some were meant for sea, in tug-boats ’Round the shore’s knee,
  (Milling with the sand,
and always coming back to land),
  For others, up above
Is all they care to think of,
Up there with the birds and clouds, and Words don’t follow.
