It really doesn't need to be that deep. Or pretentiously moralistic.

Yeah, they literally just cleaned their room and the immediatly jumped on a conclusions for external “you” moralistic.

Double-posting so I'm sorry but the more I read this the less it makes sense. The parent reply was talking about data that was straight-up not available via the API, how does perl help with that?
hartator · 2 days ago
Yeah, I don’t get it either. Someone trying AI to mass reply?

"computers used to require"

please do not write code. ever. Thinking like this is why people now think that 16GB RAM is to little and 4 cores is the minimum.

API -> ~200,000 cycles to get data, RAM O(size of data), precise result

HTML -> LLM -> ~30,000,000,000 cycles to get data, RAM O(size of LLM weights), results partially random and unpredictable

If API doesn’t have the data you want, this point is moot.

Is there some tight coupling on autonomy + electric cars? Seems the only 2 viable hands-free car companies are Tesla and Rivian. I don't see myself ever getting an electric car, but it doesn't seem like the big car companies are anywhere near this.

I think the shift to EV is inevitable.

I think they are misreading the situation.

The devil is in the details. It seems `getHeaders` v. `headers` is non-security, non-performance related issue. Why people should spend time fixing these?

I don’t dislike the forever battery and the value proposition, however voice memos never appealed to me?

The obvious voice commands that work only half of the time, can’t voice memo in bed with your parters, in the office, or in public. That leaves very limited opportunities for this to be useful.
