It's not just the model, it's Elon Musk's view of the world and business in general. Neither Microsoft nor Google nor their leadership--though admittedly imperfect--make it a habit of trolling people, openly embroiling themselves in politics, and committing blatant legal and societal transgressions. You reap what you sow; and if you live for controversy, you can't expect people not to want to do business with you.

What about promoting renewable energy, space exploration, frontier physics and advanced engineering makes you concerned?

So Grok 4 scores 130 but they put Grok midway in the pack at 110. Bias much?

It's just wildly inconsistent to me. Some times it'll produce a work of genius. Other times, total garbage.

Unfortunately we are still in the prompt optimization stage, garbage in garbage out

I understand that but how often/common could it possibly be to mix in a single bengali word/phrase like that into a larger english one?

Perhaps it's more common in the parts of the world where bengali and english are more commonly spoken in general?

Why so much bengali/hindi then and why not other languages?

There are many users in India training these models. There is also a lot more content out there the models are consuming.

One of the main issues with the margin business model (Profit of 5% of a payment for example) is that fraud is leveraged. This means that when you lose 100% of a transaction due to a chargeback or fraud loss, it takes you 20 non-fraud loss transactions to make up for it. The fraud leverage is a huge issue for platforms like this, and in certain countries half the transactions can be fraudsters.

It's incorrect to think of Canada as being "cornered" here nor having "nothing to lose".

It's the US that's isolating itself. Canada isn't 'cornered'. It has the entire rest of the world to talk to and make deals with.

It has everything to lose by continuing to rely on the US, which is why you're seeing such a hard pivot toward Europe and Asia.

epa · 5 months ago
This is silly. US is Canada's biggest trading partner and one of the largest borders in the world. 80% of people live within 1 hour of the border. Free trade has allowed both economies to prosper. Canada has everything to gain with free trade. You are right on over reliance, but free trade benefits everyone.

The question isn't what's being accessed, it's who is accessing it.

There's at least some belief that the people looking at the data haven't been vetted or instructed as they should be when handling data of this nature.

It doesn't help that the guy who is running the show is basically doing it as a friend of the president and has some conflicts of interest.

Government employees already have access to every text, call, and email you have ever sent. Where was your outrage since the Snowden leaks?
