Why are forgetting and sleep relevant? If someone invented a pill that gave you a perfect memory and removed the need to sleep, would you stop being generally intelligent if you took it?

Probably because if we didn't have the ability to forget and turn off often we would pretty quickly kill ourselves to end the horror of our existence?

Used kind + skaffold for 6 months and it was pretty solid. However, eventually switched to k3d and tilt and feeling like this combo is amazing. Cluster takes 2 seconds to create now.

I would recommend multistage build but with distroless as final. https://github.com/GoogleContainerTools/distroless
dr01d commented on Ask HN: Software teams, would you use this GitHub/Slack integration?    · Posted by u/btcboss

1. No sorry. Slack is already too chatty with bots and I end up leaving channels with git related output. I like to do git things in GitHub,gitlab, or terminal where I have full access to the toolsets. Email serves fine for notifications on PRs or things I have marked as watch.

2. No.

3. I don't think so. People seem to be quick to add these types of integrations but after 500 messages from git activity everyone ignores them or turns them off.

All my opinions of course. Maybe other people will love this.

I'm using opencv with facial detection running in the browser as JavaScript. The technology is here and isn't going away.

Realistically, smartphones are tracking everyone all the time and provide rich datasets. Camera, microphone, and GPS. If you turn off location services your phone still connects to cell towers, WiFi access points, and Bluetooth beacons, as you drive or walk around throughout your day.

You can turn off your phone. You can’t turn off cameras you don’t control.

You can turn off your phone. You can't turn off the 1000s of phones around you that you don't control. With cameras, microphones, and GPS.
