How much is this going to mess up the ability for the federal government to operate?
It would depend on the scope and extent that operations within an agency rely on their interpretation of the law. It will certainly be interesting to see the impact once the transitional period ends.

Surprised nobody mentioned GIMP yet.
FYI, I have Macromedia Fireworks MX running perfectly under WINE on Fedora (I think the only tweak I did was to increase the font size to cope with modern HIDPI displays). Highly recommend it as a web-friendly image editor (it was what I used before Adobe killed off Macromedia).
I'm curious to know if you followed a specific guide, or if you had to take any extra steps to get it functioning beyond running the installer?
I run Linux, and dearly miss being able to use Fireworks. My attempts to get it running on Wine in the past (probably a year or so ago, if not more) were not successful, and I haven't been able to find anything that feels like a suitable replacement for working with vector graphics. It is a genuine (perhaps irrational) point of sadness.
I'm still bitter that they killed it off.

It can still be downloaded via the file on the repo, just not using that direct link in the description. I'm not sure how the maintainer came to determine that is the link, since I'm almost certain that never would have been the way.
Yep, double-click+drag is how I do it. On Linux double-click selects a chunk, and then dragging selects more chunks (fully). I double-click on the first or last chunk and go towards the other end.
Not as good as double-click selects all the id, but at least id doesn't take too much time and I don't have to precisely go to one of the ends.
I did not know about the double-click+drag feature. Thanks for sharing!

From what I gather Spaceship is a new company which provides similar services to Namecheap, but is actually owned by Namecheap, ostensibly to get a fresh start without the organizational cruft and tech debt they've accrued. Why they made it a new brand rather than "Namecheap 2.0" I have no idea.
I believe that is answered in the link:
