Definitely not to skirt auto play and screen off issues ;) fun to see this is still a problem being solved. A friend and I made the same thing 10 years ago. We opted to force the screen on and play the videos to stay "legit". Explored licensing music for monetization and there was a mid 5 figure minimum to bootstrap so the project died.

Maybe the few that were WFH prior to AI. I just calculated my carbon output for commuting and going to lunch daily versus WFH and using AI and it's wayyy less. Let's all save earth, stay home and use AI.

Theres a good Oddlots episode on the business of running a small exchange. There's some money to be made in data & connectivity fees essentially. Largely around regulatory compliance due to RegNMS (the thing that created BBO).

There's plenty of these small exchanges like MEMX and MIAX, nothing new under the sun here.

Not the same. Bootstrap Studio is a stand alone design tool. This is a framework to be integrated into an app.

Don't get fooled by LOCs.

Out of the 273k LOC added, all but 20k, that is 253k are just from the boilerplate auto-generated copy/paste initialization code: https://github.com/JDKaim/HuskySwap/commit/e9f0df0d5a221b3c7...

Sure he probably did most of the coding, but it's still weird to talk all about I and not mention the other 5 in a single word when they _did_ contribute. Maybe they did testing or other things that are not reflected in LOC, e.g. presentations etc.

Not just random biloilerplate/framework code either. A framework his dad created. So with this logic his dad did the majority of the project.

While we're here, I have an ask (of anyone). I want the same exact thing you said, except for an outdoor dog on a large property.

I would like a tag that just records its own GPS coordinates locally on-device, every so often, and then when my dog comes home, I can check where she's been.

Does this exist?
