Brave ad blocker is not as good as UBO. You need to install UBO if you use brave.
I switched to Brave from Chromium + UBO. Despite seeing some ads, it's still comfier to use vanilla Brave than Chromium + UBO.
If you want your Chrome to be as fast as possible, you would get rid of all extensions you have. It doesn't matter even if it's an adblock atp.
Hence calling it a feature, not a bug is rather misleading. Since you went and installed plugins understanding that it might and it will affect your workflow.

I see that author used these Combinator Birds or Birbs [1].
The absolute "best of class" Nvidia card is currently the 4090, which can be up to 30% faster than the 4080 in scaling workloads.
What would be more interesting is to see how Nvidia's laptop cards fare here though - they're constrained to much lower wattage (80-120w) and would make for a much fairer fight against the ~200w M2 Ultra.
It's interesting. I assumed at least their power consumption should have been much better/lower than an avg orthodox desktop setup of current days.
