There are lots of crypto skeptics on HN (and we ourselves were disappointed with crypto's payments utility for much of the past decade), so it might be interesting to share what changed our mind over the past couple of years: we started to notice a lot of real-world businesses finding utility in stablecoins. For example, Bridge (a stablecoin orchestration platform that Stripe acquired) is used by SpaceX for managing money in long-tail markets. Another big customer, DolarApp, is providing banking services to customers in Latin America. We're currently adding stablecoin functionality to the Stripe dashboard, and the first user is an Argentinian bike importer that finds transacting with their suppliers to be challenging.

Importantly, none of these businesses are using crypto because it's crypto or for any speculative benefit. They're performing real-world financial activity, and they've found that crypto (via stablecoins) is easier/faster/better than the status quo ante.

We're increasing the brain's restorative function during sleep.

Over the last 4.5 years, we've been developing slow-wave enhancement technology which increases the effectiveness of deep sleep.

We've developed the full stack, our own hardware, soft conductive dry (no paste or gel) electrodes, comfortable EEG headband, embedded sleep stage classification and stimulation models, the list goes on and on.

We're currently ramping up for a pre-sale, and getting the marketing inline, along with finalizing industrial design, prepping for manufacturing, etc, etc,

Good use of tech. Hardest thing will be corrosion on the fabric electrodes. Muse S has much to teach if you haven't looked at them yet.

Aero-engineers: why can't we make airfoil kits to make certain vehicles 'air worthy'? A 10k addon to your current sedan to make it short take off and landing sounds way more fun than anything else.

I understand that weight on ground for stability is completely different than air travel... but why not create a whole class of vehicles around this premise?

The only one I can remember is the SkyCar from Moller. He was a little ahead of the game with petrol based quad motors.

How much should one trust RLS? Reading PostgREST, it looks like you could use a JWT parameter to enforce a policy - whether individual user or group based.

I really love the idea of RLS, but wonder at it's provable security properties.

CPC of $2500 isn't bad for the potential upside
