llama3 narrowly beats arctic at SQL generation (80.2 vs 79.0) and Mixtral 8x22B scored 79.2.

You'd think SQL would be the one thing they'd be sure to smoke other models on.

Actually, Snowflake doesn’t use Arctic for SQL codegen internally. They use a different model chained with mistral-large… and they do smoke the competition. https://medium.com/snowflake/1-1-3-how-snowflake-and-mistral...

Hi Adrein, thanks for the amazing framework!

I used Streamlit to build a small prototype and without any prior knowledge, I was productive within a couple of minutes! Really impressed with how simple and easy to learn you've made it.

I think Streamlit might be a good platform to build internal apps, only thing missing is a way to provide authentication. Is this something on your roadmap?

Glad you like Streamlit, rkzw. We do have an authentication solution: streamlit.io/cloud Still in private beta but you can usually get in pretty quickly after filling out the questionnaire.

Thanks for all your (and teams) hard work! Really liking Streamlit. One thing I've encountered is odd aspect ratio / figure sizing in matplotlib / seaborn plots, but otherwise it's been great

Not only will we Streamlit developers be there, but there are tons of other tons more kind + helpful community members who might have an insight into your issue.

This is so awesome to see! I've been a streamlit user for past few months. Building out things have been a breeze, especially without pulling in javascript to build out ML frontend applications. Kudos to all the folks at Streamlit!

Super neat, I came across Streamlit a couple days ago here on HN and been trying to figure out how to setup my own web server at home to host it with the proper security. I guess I won't have to now, going to try this out if I get the beta invite.

Hi Adrien we are an energy company and we love streamlit. Streamlit needs a bit more features for layout, tabs , and some work to boost cache speeds. This will make it gold. Existing competition in Dash holoviz are too cumbersome. DM me if you'd like to hear more specific comments
