Does this support users who access Codex via Azure OpenAI API keys?
adav · 11 days ago
Yes using the config.toml setup

No access via paid API? C’mon guys. Big enterprise consume codex and Claude via vertex and azure foundry, because it’s already available on their contracts.

And they don’t mind the usage cost. Please let me spend 5k monthly on this.

Works fine with Azure setup in the config.toml because I think it’s Codex CLI underneath!

I am looking forward for real competition to Apple which ironically will be better for Apple users/developers. You don't buy a McClaren for transporting your kids to the school faster.

PS: I don't think GPU continuity will work well over USB-C.

EXO Labs are doing interesting things with LLM clusters on commodity hardware. I'd quite like to plug my MacBook next to my iPad and get the extra local AI oomph.

Interesting idea. AI can't look at ads, so in the long run ads on informational material might die any you're going back to paying outright. I like it.

The ads will just become either bulk misinformation or carefully worded data points that nudge the AI towards a more favourable view of the product being sold.

I’d love to make my own scrolling maps.

Can anyone think of a good algorithm for “unrolling” or nearly “straightening” a wiggly route line so that it could fit in one long narrow straight strip?

It still needs to retain illustrative turns and kinks to help with wayfinding.

Shady side is comfy but remember that 120 min of daily indirect or direct exposure to UVB can protect your eyesight health.

Just 120 min a day under a tree during childhood.

Does the glass block lots of UV?

The reason I buy cereal less is because it’s now so unbelievably expensive. I treat myself when the own-brands are on offer.

The best thing about pedestrian/cycling bridges and tunnels is that they cost soooo much less money to build since they have so much laxer requirements.

The reason why we still have roman bridges standing is because the stress contribution of a human walking on it is basically zero. But start bringing in cars and trucks and see it crumble in a week

adav · 3 years ago
Tell that to the engineers of the Millennium Bridge in London. Resonance from foot traffic caused it to start swaying, requiring shoring up with massive dampers.

Electric motorbikes? A considerable amount of riders I have seen have hot-wired throttles, overriding the road legal pedal-assist.
