It is unfortunate that there is no web browser in a memory safe language. As I understand, both Chromium and Firefox use C++, although Firefox partly uses Rust. This has put billions of people at risk.

You forget that Apple Maps was crap when it first came out, up to the point where people were questioning why Apple was bothering in the first place.
Early adopters should recognize first versions of forward-looking tech are going to be less-than-optimal, and that the warts will eventually fall off.
Y’all around here advocate for shipping whatever you have, but when a larger org applies your principles, everyone is in a tizzy.
I don't think anyone here advocates for "just ship it" when you're talking about breaking updates to a system used by a significant chunk of the world's population.

Congrats ! I don't have an iPhone or Mac. Can I buy an AirTag, initialize it with the help of a friend who has an iPhone, and then locate the AirTag or ring it from my PC with this Python lib?
I don't see how you would get the private key for the airtag off the iPhone without jailbreaking it. The readme of the project implies you can do this but the docs are completely lacking

From an old David Letterman interview with her long, long ago, I learned a cool little life hack:
She moved to the big city and was getting into the entertainment industry, going around with her CV/résumé, trying to get jobs.
The most impressive things on her CV had an * next to them.
At the bottom of the page, it said, “* = l.i.e.”
Only once did someone interviewering her ask her what that means.
She said, “Oh those are lies.”
I like that. Shows it doesn't really matter, and if you're admitting up-front that it's a lie, then it's the interviewer's fault for ignoring it.
You're not really admitting it by masking it in an obtuse acronym
