I highly recommend Siyuan as an alternative, it has many the best features from obsidian plugins included by default

Dev has a history of installing cryptominers in his previous projects and rootkitting people into starring and forking his projects.

Anyone know how to change the default :date output to YYYY-MM-DD instead of MM/DD/YYYY on macOS?

I’ve tried the following in default.yml and reloading the config, but it’s not working and Claude, Gemini, and myself are stumped :)

  matches:
    - trigger: ":date"
      replace: "{{mydate}}"
      vars:
        - name: mydate
          type: date
          params:
            format: "%Y-%m-%d"

Big shocker, but oil was useless before technology for use and extraction was developed.

All technology did in this case was unlock it as a resource worth plundering.

The data is relevant to the other central point. If you compared the standard of living between 1AD Rome and 2024 US, the difference isn't because the US is better at plundering.

It is hands down technological innovation.

Then why is it constantly starting wars over oil?

I asked him to give a masterclass on how he does the modding, for one of my indie conferences! Video's out for free [0] in case you're interested.
