Ghostscript seems fine for this task.

Editorialized title to make it fit. Solar power is def shaking up the energy landscape, with plummeting panel costs making it a real contender against fossil fuels and disrupting energy markets and grid dynamics. Will that hold with TRUMPian global economics remains to be seen. The article also points to challenges like storage and integration, but what’s interesting is the mention of direct air capture (DAC) as a potential game-changer. While evidence from others about the feasibility of DAC is slim, if the lofty claims hold up, it could reshape renewables and open up big investment opportunities.

Curious on HN's take—is this just Hyperloop tech-bro hype, or is there something worth betting on here?

Congrats on launching, OP!

This might be the first Show HN that I insta-purchased after reading your landing page. The mobile interface looks extraordinarily well thought-out.

Same, personally, I couldn't even finish reading the landing page before I found the buy button and purchased.

This is an absolutely phenomenal use of the espressif esp32s3 in a hardware that I will likely use daily for the rest of my life.

Kudos!

Hi, Chip, what a neat device!

I ordered one to use secretly. My dad’s 90 and was a working musician since he was 15 or so. He’s always wanted to make recordings of his playing but gets distracted by the technology, even something relatively plug and play like Garage Band. I’m looking forward to plugging this in and just capturing his playing without distraction.

Educational environment with artificial intelligence that connects you to the labor market
Teknomancer · a year ago
Sounds very interesting. So I’m interested in learning more about the environments goals and focus. Could you tell me more about the type of educational content you envision prioritizing and the audience it’s meant to serve? As well, I’d love to understand how artificial intelligence will specifically support users within this educational environment. Give a use case? How will the platform bridge the gap between education and the labor markets?

Are there goals for partnerships with particular companies or industries to support this? Oh and I’m also curious if the platform or whatever will focus on developing skills for specific professions or if it has a broader educational scope.

This is just an opinion. The only way forward with automated and autonomous vehicles is through industry cooperation and standardization. The Tesla approach to the problem is inadequate, lacking means for interoperability, and relying on inferior detection mechanisms. Somebody who solves these problems and does it by offering interoperability and standards applied to all automakers wins.

Sold Tesla investments. The company is on an unprofitable downward spiral trajectory. The CEO is a total clown. Reinvested on advise in Diamler, after Mercedes-Benz and Diamler Trucks North America demonstrated their research and work into creating true autonomous technology and safe global industry standardizations.

Interestingly, Safari Reader View doesn't work on this page. Firefox's does.

Alternatively, here's a readable mirror: https://ei.cs.vt.edu/%7Ehistory/Daemon.html
