I actually think the title is misleading. I'm not sure actual existing deployments are affected? Seemingly just new ones are not working?

it seemed to have been all deployments that had a browser facing interface. id say some cloudflair DNS config messup

Co-hosted a local Bitcoin meetup like a decade ago, it was basically a local HN meetup as we ended up talking about HN and it turned out we were all active users :)

We had two different types of events, one which is the typical "Here is a person presenting, now you can ask question and later we all chat and drink beer", and the other more casual "lets just meet at this bar, order some food and see what happen", which I think worked out very well as long as you get some regulars you can semi-rely on.

It's funny, im sure to Millennials this is jsut some nostalga to a simpler internet but I find seeing old dorm rooms and random slices of life from more than a decade ago really intresting, from the fashion to the red eyes from the flash. half of these photos look like they could appear on a modern Lo-Fi album cover

To anyone that has a intrest in this area, (which if you are reading this you proably have some) I would highly reccomend the book Fossil Men by Kermit Pattison. Also if anyone has some book reccomendations along these lines plz do send them my way
