> The rate of immigrants leaving Canada hit a two-decade high in 2019, according to a recent report from the Institute for Canadian Citizenship (ICC),

Its about immigrants specifically leaving, which is arguably a good indicator of the desirability of living in the country.

you're saying you don't want neighbors?

I think that people that talk like this need to get a sense of perspective and perhaps reserve such vitriolic and dramatic language for actual problems instead of conversations about video resolution.

actually, my argument is against digital rights management meaning digital exclusive property

I'm aware that's a bit of a leap to get from "lowering quality" to "drm sucks and is a terrible idea", but as I see things, drm defeats the purpose of having an internet

and it is an even bigger jump (at least 16-bits? ahaha) to understand the connection between twich and south korea (who pays for the bits?)

it's remarkable how you critizice my 'lack of perspective', because your comment requires that I narrow my perspective enought that I can fill in the gaps in my own opinion such a way that you get what I'm trying to say

The amount of division in the Balkans -- especially in the last 20-30 years -- has never made much sense to me, given how close culturally and ethnically most of the population is. This only confirms that the fragmentation of the region is driven more from the creation of 'national myths' than on genetic differences between different groups of people.

if governance were a technical field (which it is)

that idea would be like a theorem

the remaining puzzle is who is really "ruling" the balkans?

If that is what that phrase means, then I do not love life. I love living. I know nothing of death, and cannot help but dread its inevitable embrace.

All that I am now, all the things I do and could do, will change. It may be a part of life, but it is the end of living.

the idea is that life and dead are both a side of the same figurative coin

The one thing I hope AI helps with is the mess of the medical industry. At a minimum AI should be reviewing MRI's and other diagnostic test before a human does. Your entire life is in droves of overworked / hungover / burned out medical personal.

Once you have a health issue you will learn real fast how bad it has gotten.

Nthringas · 2 years ago
I wouldn't call that a minimum, MRIs are a higher dimensional signal representation

all people in the world should have access the state of the art medical chat AI already, but this would "crash" the medical "industry"

but medicine should not be an industry because that creates incentives to make people have poor health
