I still remember the 3 level demo CD they made. Awesome demo levels that made me buy the game, which is still one of my favorite games of all time.

I said it and say it again, openai is the biggest privacy disaster ever. Sam Altman should be ashamed, because it's not at all necessary.

"These are all new chats."

Bear in mind that it shares memory from previous chats.

There's at least two types. One saving things you tell it. Another querying recent chats.

There seems to be another kind of memory for when it does searches. May be related to Atlas. I've tried to clear bugs from this (it gets my name wrong) but it's not in the other two.

No, when memory is disabled this shouldn't be the case.

What causes the improvements in new AI models recently? Is it just more training, or is it new, innovative techniques?
I_am_tiberius · a month ago
Some months back they changed their terms of service and by default users now allow Anthropic to use prompts for learning. As it's difficult to know if your prompts, or derivations of it, are part of a model, I would consider the possibility that they use everyone's prompt.

Still mad at them because they decided not to take their users' privacy serious. Would be interested how the new model behaves, but just have a mental lock and can't sign up again.

I guess you should never use the latest versions of libraries.

It is interesting that the Gemini 3 beats every other model on these benchmarks, mostly by a wide margin, but not on SWE Bench. Sonnet is still king here and all three look to be basically on the same level. Kind of wild to see them hit such a wall when it comes to agentic coding

I don't know if this is true but I believe Anthropic has for a long time illegally used user prompts for training, without user consent.

While I haven't tried leaving the field blank on every credit card form I've come across, I'm certain that at least some of them considered it required.

Perhaps its country specific?

I_am_tiberius · a month ago
I've never been asked a phone number. Maybe country specific. no idea.

Is it just me or is it generally the case that to pay for anything on the internet you have to enter credit card information including a phone number.

I_am_tiberius · a month ago
You never have to add your phone number in order to pay.
