Same error as the others. Looks like auth is successful in popup window: "You can close this window".

Then in Kiro I see "There was an error signing you in. Please try again.".

FWIW, I've tried GitHub & Google, in different browsers, on different networks.

For me, it was Little Snitch blocking the request..

Thanks for the report! I'll keep an eye on it. So far we aren't seeing any other reported issues, so it's possible that a browser extension, or something else in your setup is messing with the SSO flow.

Redirect back to localhost:3128 is normal, that's where Kiro is watching for a callback, but the missing state is not normal. Something may have stripped the info out of the callback before it occurred, which is why I suspect an extension in your browser.

Will keep an eye on this though!

I'm really happy and productive with Django, DRF, React, React Router, and React Query.

Mostly I just use Django alone with nothing on top, not even a frontend framework.

Where do you deploy for compute/storage? What about needing additional workers? How do you replicate your prod env in dev?

I question if any of these other commenters have actually tried the Quest Pro yet and specifically with 1) Horizon Workrooms and 2) a mac and 3) a supported tracked keyboard from apple or Logitech.

I was a complete Meta disbeliever and long time Quest owner, having put a few dozen hours into working in Immersed last year before putting it down and accepting it wasn’t good enough.

Fast forward to last weekend, give it a try with the setup described above instead. Proceeded to do a 9hr shift fully in VR. Went out, got the Pro, and now I am all in. We are there. Give it a shot, you can always return it right?

Also +1 to everything jedberg said in their comment, great advice.

>>> That sounds like a strange setup for C# unless I'm missing something.

I remote into a full Windows VM, we use VS 2019.

>>> Also what's stopping you from charging form USB-C monitor and using it as a hub ?

My USB-C monitor can't charge for some reason. It's one of the first 43 inch USB-C supporting monitors.

I’ve done both and it was worth it. Highly recommended.

One can also consider a mail processor if you’re nomadic or on the road often; you give out that address, pay $10-$20/month for the service, and they dispose of the junk mail and scan in only paper mail of importance for review.

Edit: will return with mail processor recommendations when not mobile.

Any that you recommend or know of?

Nothing special, I bought a Mac Mini about a year ago, things have changed a lot and I don't get to sit at my desk as a regular during the night, selling it seems hard, and Apple just accept a Late 2021 M1 mac mini with 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD for $450 lol. So I decided to continue using it as a headless computer via my iPad instead of trying to sell it.

The image quality on VNC depends a lot on the internet connection btw, even for the same wifi at home, I had to use Adaptive Quality mode for a better experience. There are not so many good VNC clients on iPad, Screens Connect seems to be the best one.

Are you using the built-in macOS VNC server is Screens Connect (the service)?

Yep, I have my controller running on a Synology 720+ NAS that has zero ‘wide area network’ access. Everything is local to my home.

I am deeply saddened by Ubiquiti’s fall from grace... they were so good.

Can you go into more detail about your setup? I have 920+ and am in the market for a new router (controller? Still learning the terminology).
DividableMiddle commented on Ask HN: How to get a good pay SDE job in US?    · Posted by u/SinghCoder

Cloud certs are currently the most desired in the US right now. By that I mean, in order of precedence ... AWS, GCP/Azure, and then Oracle. I would also add the recent certs from Elastic/Hashicorp/Kubernetes are becoming more popular.

These certs I have consistently seen lead to jobs, even for those in difficult to place circumstances. They also I believe train you well for the job at hand.

certs from any particular vendor?
