Wait until you learn about Git. ;)

Be careful. The language police have already got rid of "master". They were eyeing up gimp for a takeover or rename but I don't think it got very far. Perhaps all their energy was spent on removing the slavery from git.

Then you wouldn't have 3G cellular. Or 4G. Or 5G cellular. It costs tens of millions of dollars to drive around san diego in those vans taking traces of a new cellular system design and discovering improvements so that the standard works everywhere else on earth (San Diego is a worst case that's comparable to Hong Kong.). We wouldn't have CDMA cellular. Or LTE cellular. Recall that CDMA cellular was 3x more efficient in bits/second/Hz than 2G/GSM, so that cell phone providers could literally give you a free phone or PAY YOU to throw away your phone and they would still come out ahead, financially.

That sounds wonderful. A world without widespread high bandwidth wireless connectivity would be a better world.

You've defined that function with an attribute saying not to ignore the returned value. Is it right to explicitly silence an explicit warning?

Then he should hit the Print Screen key and print the screen. Assuming he still has a printer that works acceptably.

> I'm still not using Wayland.

Why?

Am4TIfIsER0ppos · 17 days ago
Not GP but...

Last time I started a wayland plasma session it kept resetting my screen brightness to 100% every time they woke from sleep. The time before that I crashed the entire desktop, dropping me back to the terminal, when I tried to drag a hyperlink between windows.

Those might have been fixed and I might try wayland again next time I update and reboot.

I don't care about its supposed advantages.

Amazingly but perhaps not surprisingly, cars in the EU do similar amounts of spying on you, but the EU is silent. Car manufacturers pretty much run the EU.

Because the government wants the tracking. They want your car broadcasting its position.
