Ever since I saw the ring cam video of the delivery dude drinking someone's milkshake, I've never used these weird ad-hoc food delivery services. Here's another reason.
For me it was the Zomato driver eating out of every curry in his bag and then smushing them down with the fork to make it look like it hadn’t been eaten out of. Also exploitive labor practices (1099s here in the states).
So what generally happens here is that the restaurant staples the paper bags shut before handing it to the delivery service. Seems like a simple solution to me -- though honestly this problem shouldn't exist in the first place, but people will be people.
And I thought it was just the delivery dudes of these services being dickheads sometimes. Evidently, it's also a medium for dickhead patrons to be dickheads.
