On an individual level you have two choices:

- eat meat, and accept the impact to the environment, health risks, and mass unethical treatment of livestock

- stop eating meat, and accept that some of the foods you grew up eating, you can't eat any more

"eating meat carries health risks"

"eating meat necessarily results in unethical treatment of livestock"

Sounds like a load of barnacles. Even that third one about impacting the environment is likely bogus.

I don't see evidence that:

1. This person is crying

2. This person is even that elderly

This is just bs propaganda - it could easily be framed as "Walmart is engaging in rampant age and ableism discrimination" if Walmart didn't allow this person to work.

It's true. There's a lot missing from the presentation. There's a lot of ways to dismiss this particular post. Would it be unfair to ask you to argue against a steelmanned version instead?

So you ignored the context surrounding this piece of advice?

Yea, reinventing the wheel is a great way to learn. You're not going to hear an educator tell you to not reinvent the wheel.

I'm shocked that we allowed this to happen? It took decades for the research to catch up and, in that time, we've already saturated the environment?

I have a bit of a bias in advocating more for enabling excellence than accommodating average. I will concede we have done a terrible job at sharing the harvest, but it’s often the excellent that are responsible for our harvest being so plentiful to begin with.

I can't tell if you actually read the comment that you're responding to because you seem to be ringing the same bell. The issue at hand is creating opportunities for people who are clearly not cut out for white collar work. Framing this as "enabling excellence vs accommodating average" is out of touch and sounds extremely arrogant.

They mention towards the end that Trump signed an executive order to place FERC under federal control in order to fast track projects. There's a reason there's a lot of red tape, Mark. ffs
