Meanwhile my Pixel 2 is still rocking after 7 years of daily use.

You are also rocking a bunch of security vulnerabilities then, because this thing is EOL for a long time.

I hope one day we can have the same thing for the helix editor.

I'd recommend just getting a piblade and mounting them...

A huge problem with Graphene is the incredibly small number of supported devices. We need something that isn't as reliant on specific hardware, and while that would mean some security features are not supported it would still be better than most other options by far.

You need secure hardware to have secure software.

I wish it would have support for Zigbee so I can pair it with other open data aggregation systems like Home Assistant. AirGradient, another cool air quality monitor, for example, does not have this.

I really hope this won’t affect International/European pricing for their laptops as I was planning on getting my GF (who lives in Poland) a Framework 12.

Additionally, I was thinking about purchasing a Framework Desktop to use as a server for my business. (I’d like to use LLMs but due to the sensitive nature of my customer’s data I would strongly prefer doing so locally.) I guess I’d have to send it to my GF and then smuggle it into the US in my carry on.

It shouldn't affect European customers. After all, framework is based in Taiwan and there are no tariffs for european customers in that scenario.

The UI looks nice, but feature wise, I think I would rather go with Firefly III. It is a lot more complete.

Looks very interesting to me. There are a couple of features that are especially important to me.

- Good accuracy sleep tracking

- GPS ( I know this uses up a lot of battery but could be off by default)

- Self-hostable servers. (I'm a very privacy conscious person, and also I don't want to be bound to an ecosystem that might disappear one day)

I'm gonna keep an eye on this project. It really looks very interesting. I hope it gets far.
