How do you optimize your goals while adequately meeting the implicit and explicit socio-cultural norms of the tribes you seek to form bonds with? What types of projects do you use cursor heavily for and what did you stop doing because of cursor, what did you start doing more of?
everything. fullstack (django + svelte) at the moment
I stopped thinking very deeply about problems, idk if this is the right way to put it (like, now I just think of where to place my smartbulb and how to pair it with my phone, not how to manufacture it). I know this is not seen as good, but still the price-to-value is worth it, but instead I think of them more broadly. I can fly through the possibility space much faster. I do hope to try claude code, i.e. closer to the metal, just have to find the time to figure out the vscode integrations, what's the ".cursorrules" analogue (if any) etc.
I started consuming more content (reading, watching), replying emails, posting on x/hn/reddit while the it generates my code. I also have more motivation to wear the product-guy hat and get mentally closer to my future user
